You may have already heard the term "STEM" (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) as it relates to a group of subject matters that are often times connected with each other as part of 21st century learning methods. However, many groups have begun to speak out about the necessary inclusion of the arts within this model to fully achieve the goals of 21st century learning. These groups want to change the term "STEM" to "STEAM." Read more about this movement and its connections with arts integration below.
